Dragonfly Percussion Ben Irons “Spark” Gong Mallet

Gong Mallet

• Ben Irons “Spark” model
• The ‘Spark’ mallets are based on our RSMH model (medium-hard, red)
• The Spark is significantly shorter, features an additional steel weight in the core and can be played on either side, both of which are softer than on the RSMH
• It responds immediately and quickly to every gong strike and brings out numerous high and mid-range frequencies
• “This mallet produces bright, precise tones that contrast with the full, blooming sound of its bigger brother. When used in combination with the ‘Bloom’ model, this mallet is a reliable workhorse for gongs and larger singing bowls. I reach for it when I want to take my sessions up a notch.” Ben Irons
